Public Information Officer (PIO) Course, TCOLE Course #666038

This is a three-day course that meets the PIO requirements of HB 33

Hosted by The Sheriffs’ Association of Texas and instructed by the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT). This training normally runs $395 but we are happy to offer our members and other interested parties an affordable option.

Dates:  August 17-19, 2026

Location:  Brazos Center, 3232 Briarcrest Drive, Bryan, TX

Registration fee:  $195 for current 2026 SAT Members; $265 for expired and non-members.*

Cancellation/No Show Policy: Fifty percent of the registration fee is refundable for written cancellations submitted on or before August 1, 2026. No refund will be issued after that date, but substitutions of attendees are permitted with written notice. Individuals that fail to show or submit written cancellation notices will owe 100% of the applicable registration fee.

A SAT room block is established at the Best Western Premier on Austins Colony Parkway in Bryan.
